Peace, He Gave

May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace. —Numbers 6:26 (NLT) 


When the children of Israel were wandering in the desert, the LORD told Moses to speak a blessing over His children. In that blessing He gave them peace. In John 14:27 (NKJV), Jesus said: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” From beginning to end, our Heavenly Father's desire has been for us to live in peace, peace of mind and heart. He gave us His peace. Don't let the thief steal your peace. Cast your cares on the LORD, for He CARES for you.
