Put Your Hope in God!

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! —Psalm 42:11 (NLT)

The Message Bible says, “Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues?” When you get discouraged or distressed, make a decision to put your hope in God. Each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon us (Psalm 42:8, NLT). The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; (Lamentations 3:22-23, NAS). If you're down in the dumps, look up into the light. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness (Psalm 112:4, NKJV) Remember: The LORD is our light and our salvation! (Psalm 27:1)
