“Lead Me, LORD!”

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. —Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT)

God knows us better than we know ourselves. We cannot fool Him. He searches our minds and our hearts (Revelation 2:23). He knows what we are going to say before we even utter a word (Psalm 139:4). Be open and honest with your heavenly Father. Rid yourself of anything that offends Him and follow Him. The LORD will make known to you the path of life; He will fill you with joy in His presence, with eternal pleasures at His right hand (Psalm 16:11 NIV).
