Our Strength & Song

The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! —Exodus 15:2 (NLT)

After four hundred years of captivity (Genesis 15:13), God delivered the Israelites from their enemies and they sung this song to the LORD. No matter how long our troubles may last, let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23 NKJV). My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life (Psalm 119:50 NIV). God is our strength and song and He has given us the victory! Hallelujah!
