Get Understanding

How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.  —Proverbs 16:16 (NKJV)

Choose to get understanding rather than material gains or possessions. No earthly riches compare to understanding. Let us seek first to understand, then to be understood (7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen R. Covey). He who keeps understanding shall prosper and find good (Proverbs 19:8b AMP). Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Good understanding gains favor, (Proverbs 13:15a NKJV). Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it (Proverbs 16:22 NKJV).
