The Sure Foundation

He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure. —Isaiah 33:6 (NIV)

No matter how unstable and volatile this world may be, our mighty God is the sure foundation. The Message Bible says: God keeps your days stable and secure (Isaiah 33:6). He has a rich store, an abundant treasure of salvation, wisdom and knowledge for those who fear and worship Him. The Amplified Bible says: the reverent fear and worship of the Lord is our treasure and His. Instead of being tossed to and fro by the circumstances of this life, stand strong on the sure foundation.
