Walk in His Paths
This morning, as I read my Bible, this portion of Scripture spoke to my heart.
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.” —Isaiah 2:3 (NKJV)
My prayer: “Thank You, LORD, for Your wonderful Word. I pray that You would help us to be teachable. May our hearts be tender before You, that we may submit to You, to Your will and Your ways, in all that we do. Let us totally surrender —give up trying to do things our way and follow You. May we walk on the path that You set before us and not take any detours. For Your path leads to everlasting life, peace and joy. Let us not fall for any sideshow distractions of the enemy. Help us to remember: we MUST be about our Father’s business (Luke 2:49). In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.”
