Be Strong & Work!

‘Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the LORD of hosts. —Haggai 2:4 (NKJV)

Faith without works is dead (James 2:26). The rubber meets the road, in the life of a believer, when we take what we have learned and touch the lives of those around us, when we bring light into their darkness. God is with us and enables us to do all He has called us to. In Luke 8:21, Jesus said, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” Be strong & do the work God has given you to do.
