Shake it Off!

But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand. But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. —Acts 28:3, 5 (NKJV)

When it feels like the enemy has his teeth in you, shake it off. Have no fear, no weapon turned against you will succeed. God still reigns and His plans for you are good. Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge (Psalm 91:3-4 NIV). God will restore what the enemy has stolen and give you double for your trouble.
