It’s War!

And the dragon was angry at the woman and declared war against the rest of her children—all who keep God’s commandments and maintain their testimony for Jesus. —Revelation 12:17 (NLT)

“Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” (Revelation 12:12 NKJV). Wake up! We are in a war. Lives are at stake. First Peter 5:8 (NLT) warns us to “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”

But take heart, because Jesus has already overcome the enemy. We defeat him by the blood of the Lamb and by our testimony (Revelation 12:11a NLT). Let us continually speak God’s Word over our lives. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

The LORD is on Your Side
