Moved with Compassion

Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”Mark 1:40-42 (NKJV)

Immediately after Jesus spoke the word, the leprosy was gone, the leper's skin was smooth and healthy. (Mark 1:43) This leper came to Jesus. He humbled himself and kneeled down. He acknowledged that Jesus was able to fulfill his request, when he said, “You can make me clean.” May we humbly approach Jesus, acknowledge the greatness of our God and ask for His help, because Jesus is always compassionate willing and able. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) Are you willing to trust Him and take Him at His Word?
