Put your Heart into it

Jesus answered, “Isaiah was right about frauds like you, hit the bull’s-eye in fact: These people make a big show of saying the right thing, but their heart isn’t in it. They act like they are worshiping me, but they don’t mean it. They just use me as a cover for teaching whatever suits their fancy, ditching God’s command and taking up the latest fads.” —Mark 7:6-8 (MSG)

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. (John 4:23 NKJV) For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7) Don't be like the Scribes and Pharisees. Their walk did not line up with their talk. Everything God did for us and is continually doing, is because of His great love for us. Out of our love for God, let us be true worshipers, not only speaking the Word of God, but also making sure our actions line up with His Word. James 1:22 (NLT) says, But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
