It's Your Choice

Though the fig tree does not blossom
 and there is no fruit on the vines,
though the yield of the olive fails
and the fields produce no food,
 though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD;
 I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! —Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP)

In the face of difficult circumstances, we can still choose to sing joyful praise to the Lord GOD. Habakkuk 3:19 (AMP), tells us why: He is our strength [our source of courage, our invincible army]; He has made our feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes us walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on our high places [of challenge and responsibility]. Whatever need we have, He is our source. His supply is endless. And He is a generous and gracious God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness and truth. He is a good and faithful Father, Who always takes care of His children. Amen.
