Stay Alert

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.” —Revelation 12:10 (NASB1995)

Stay on the alert, we are engaged in a war. The devil declared war with those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. (See Revelation 12:17) He accuses us before our God day and night, but we have a Mediator. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all. (See 1 Timothy 2:5-6) We shall overcome by the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony, and we must not love our lives even when faced with death. (See Revelation 12:11)
