Blessed are those who Persevere

As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
James 5:11 (NIV)

As we endure various trials we develop perseverance and perseverance brings about maturity and wholeness (James 1:2-4). Job suffered like no other and in the end, He received double for his trouble. Job 42:10 says, after Job prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before. May we draw from the Lord all we need to withstand the trials and temptations that come our way and we will be blessed.

Be Captivated by Christ
