Continue to Love

My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn't know the first thing about God, because God is love - so you can't know him if you don't love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him.
1 John 4:7-9 (The Message)

Jesus said the two greatest commandments is to love the Lord your God and to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39). In 1 Corinthians 13:13, the Apostle Paul declares that love is the greatest. God modeled the sacrificial love we are to have when He sent His Son as a sacrifice to pay the price for our sins. When spouses, children, relatives, friends and co-workers don't live up to your expectations, continue to show them unconditional love, the same unfailing love God shows us when we miss the mark. Peter says, "above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). Amen.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter.
