Closer than a Brother

A man who has friends must himself be friendly,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24 (NKJ)

Jesus is the loyal friend who sticks closer than a brother. Jesus is Immanuel, which means God with us. He is our constant companion. When we are in need, He is a friend in deed. Proverbs 17:17 says a friend loves at all times. Jesus showed the greatest love of all when He gave His life to save us. Thank our heavenly Father for the wonderful sacrificial love Jesus, our Lord and Savior, graciously gives to us. He calls you, "friend."
