This lost son had taken his inheritance, moved to a distant country and wasted all his money in wild living. After his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve, but no one gave him anything. When he came to his senses, he returned home.

While he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. The father had the best clothes put on him and they had a feast and celebrated. If you have wandered away from our heavenly Father, return home. He will not condemn you. Abba Father is waiting for you with a heavy heart and open arms.
