Yes, He Cares!

And there arose a fierce gale of wind, and the waves were breaking over the boat so much that the boat was already filling up. Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"
Mark 4:37-38 (NAS)

As we experience stormy times, it may appear that the Lord is sleeping, but that is not true. He has everything under control. He knows about the storm before it hits and He has already made a way through. When the disciples woke Jesus up, He rebuked the wind and told the sea to be still and it became perfectly calm. In Isaiah 43:2, God promises, "when you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you." The Lord cares about you. You are in His hands and no one can snatch you out.
