Endure!

We must focus on Jesus, the source and goal of our faith. He saw the joy ahead of him, so he endured death on the cross and ignored the disgrace it brought him. Then he received the highest position in heaven, the one next to the throne of God. —Hebrews 12:2 (GW)

In this life we have to endure some things. Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) The Amplified version goes on to say that Jesus deprived the world of power to harm us and conquered it for us. Amen! We must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 2:3), knowing that He has already given us the victory. Let us be like the Apostle Paul and fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith (2 Timothy 4:7)!
