Facing the Fire

Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us... —Daniel 3:17 (NKJV)

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego were bound and cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace for not serving the god of King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 3:21). But GOD sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him (Daniel 3:28). The fire had no power over their bodies; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them. When you face fiery trials, keep your trust in God and He will deliver you too!

Be Captivated by Christ

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” — Daniel 3:16-18 (NASB1995) Our attitude and mindset should be similar to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego before they were thrown into the fiery furnace. Know that our God is able to deliver us. Let us trust Yahweh to deliver us from all of our fiery furnace experiences.
