Persevere & Prevail!

And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.” —Genesis 32:28 (NKJV)

In order for any progress to be made, there is going to be a struggle. Jacob wrestled all night with a Man and refused to let go until he received his blessing (Genesis 32:24, 26), then he became Israel, Prince with God. If we persevere through the struggles and the pain, and keep God as our strong foundation, we too will prevail. God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). Amen!
