What You Need Now

Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. —Hebrews 10:36 (NLT)

Let us patently endure hardship, trials and temptations. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord (James 5:11). Job received double for his trouble. Hannah and Sarah went through a season of barrenness before they experienced the joy of giving birth. Joseph lived in the prison before he dwelt in the palace. David hid in caves before he sat on the throne, as king of Israel. We must put in the hard work and sweat to climb the mountain, before we can enjoy the view from the top. In the midst of setbacks, keep pushing forward; instead of going for what appears quick and easy, stick with God’s plan. Then you will receive ALL that He has promised!
