Pressed?

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. —2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT)

In the midst of adversity, we do not lose heart. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV). When we get pressed, let’s press on! Press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us (Philippians 3:14 NLT). Press on knowing that God always leads us in triumph in Christ… (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV)!
