God is with You

So He said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there. I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again…” —Genesis 46:3-4 (NKJV)

God promised Israel that He would accompany him on his journey to Egypt. And He fulfilled that promise. Israel dwelt in the best of the land, and grew and multiplied exceedingly. (Genesis 47:11, 27). Our mighty God is a Promise Keeper. His words still ring true for His people today.

We are not to fear treading where God has called us to go. When we go down, let us remember that God is with us and He will surely bring us up again. May we encourage ourselves in the LORD and find strength to endure life's challenges. Wherever and whatever God leads us to, He is faithful to bring us through it, out of it, or over it. Glory hallelujah!

Be Captivated by Christ
