He is Near

Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near. —Acts 17:26-27 (MSG)

Don’t just settle for knowing about God. Instead of groping around in the dark, actually take the time to draw near to Him and develop an intimate relationship with Him, the Creator of the heavenly lights. There is nothing on your "To Do" list that is more important than spending time with the One who deeply and completely loves you. For in Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). It is good for us to draw near to God (Psalm 73:28). He allows nothing to separate us from His unfailing love.
