He Reigns!

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their God. He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever. —Psalm 146:5-6 (NIV)

He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are weighed down. The LORD loves the godly. The LORD protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked. The LORD will reign forever. He will be your God, O Jerusalem, throughout the generations. (Psalm 146:7-10 NLT)

No matter how circumstances may appear, remember that our sovereign God still reigns. Keep your hope in Him and you will not be disappointed. His plans and purpose will be accomplished. We don't know what the future holds but we can trust the One who does.

Be Captivated by Christ
