Return & Rest

God, the Master, The Holy of Israel, has this solemn counsel: 
“Your salvation requires you to turn back to me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me— The very thing you’ve been unwilling to do.” —Isaiah 30:15 (MSG)

“Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength…” (Isaiah 30:15 NLT). May we return to the LORD with our whole hearts and rest in His loving arms. Rest in His goodness and grace. Rest in His will and in His ways. Rest in His compassion and kindness. When we quietly and confidently trust in the LORD we find strength to overcome every challenge. Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; (Isaiah 40:31a)

Be Captivated by Christ
