The Good Father

“I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.” —2 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV)

No matter what kind of relationship you have or had with your biological father, don’t let the nature of that relationship distort your view of our heavenly Father. He is a good Father and He loves every single one of His children. He is a compassionate and kind Father, rich in grace and mercy. He is a faithful Father, who is always there when you need Him. He is a wise Father. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts much higher than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) He shows us the path of life. (Psalm 16:11). God is Jehovah Jireh, our provider. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11) Chase after Him as the first love of your life.

And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. —Isaiah 9:6b (NKJV)

Be Captivated by Christ
