Commit Your Way

Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. —Psalm 37:4-5  (NKJV)

Proverbs 28:26 (NLT) says, those who trust their own insight are foolish, but anyone who walks in wisdom is safe. It is wise for us to commit our way to the LORD. As you make your plans for the new year, do not rely on your own insight or understanding. Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. (Proverbs 16:3 AMP) You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21 NLT) Submit to His will and His way and you will experience the good plans He has in store for you. Amen.
