The Answer

Listen! You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of King David, his ancestor. He will rule over the people of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will never end.” —Luke 1:31-33 (NCV)

Jesus is the Son of the Most High. As the song says, “He is the answer to what our hearts are searching for.” Jesus is higher than any mountain that stands before you. He is greater than any storm. Even the winds and the sea obey Him (Matthew 8:27). Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of lords. He is our only hope. Jesus is our strength, and He is our peace, in the midst of the storms.

In John 16:33 (NLT) Jesus said: “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
