Abide in Love

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. —1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NLT)

The Passion Translation says that love is gentle and consistently kind to all. (1 Corinthians 13:4 TPT) God’s perfect love for us is constant. May we continually walk in love, with all people. Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. (1 Corinthians 13:7 TPT)

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. —1 John 4:16 (NASB)
