Wait on the Lord

For from days of old no one has heard, nor has ear perceived, nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who works and acts in behalf of the one who [gladly] waits for Him. —Isaiah 64:4 (AMP)

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. (Psalm 37:7) Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! (Psalm 27:14) Our walk with the Lord is not a do-it-yourself project. Let us wait patiently, with gladness of heart and full of confidence that our God will work everything together for good.

My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. —Psalm 62:5 (NKJV)
