He Sees

Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are God Who Sees”; for she said, “Have I not even here [in the wilderness] remained alive after seeing Him [who sees me with understanding and compassion]?” —Genesis 16:13-14 (AMP)

Our heavenly Father is El Roi, the God Who sees. There is no need to try and hide. He knows all of our thoughts and feelings and He sees us with understanding and compassion. He holds us by the hand and watches over us for good and not for harm.
O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! —Psalm 34:8 (NASB)
