Come Close

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations. —Psalm 100:4-5 (NASB)

It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim His unfailing love in the morning, and His faithfulness in the evening, (Psalm 92:1-2). Enter His gates and come into His courts. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. (James 4:8 NLT)

…let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. —Hebrews 4:16 (AMP)
