Everything We Need

For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. —2 Peter 1:3 (AMP)

Know that we have been called, with a purpose and a good plan for our lives. And the very God who called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light has given us everything we need to live an abundant and godly life. Our awesome God has given us His Holy Spirit to dwell within us and help us reflect God’s true nature. And we have the Word of God which will make our way prosperous, and give us good success, as we meditate in it day and night, and do according to all that is written in it. (See Joshua 1:8)

Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. —2 Peter 1:3 (TPT)
