Pray, Ask & Believe

“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.”Mark 11:24 (NASB1995)

When it comes to praying, asking and believing, the first question is: Where is your faith? In Mark 11:22 (NLT), Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God.” Our trust is to be in Yahweh alone. In Mark 11:25 (NASB1995), He goes on to say: “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. So do not expect to receive from our gracious heavenly Father if you are holding a grudge against someone, or if you are holding onto a root of bitterness. If you ask [God for something] and do not receive it, it could be because you ask with wrong motives [out of selfishness or with an unrighteous agenda]... (See James 4:3 AMP) No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (See Psalm 84:11)
