"Did God really say?"

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
Genesis 3:1 (NIV)

Eve got into a conversation with the devil about what God said and was deceived. We should not get into any discussions with the devil about what God said. When the devil tempted Jesus in the desert, Jesus responded by stating, "It is written..." (Luke 4:4, 8) Let us be like Jesus and speak nothing but the Word, when the devil comes knocking at our door.
