Serve Him Only

And Samuel said to the whole house of Israel, "If you are returning to the LORD with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreths and commit yourselves to the LORD and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines."
1 Samuel 7:3 (NIV)

Eighty percent of Americans call themselves Christians, yet our land is fraught with darkness of all kinds. May those of us who claim to be Christian, return to the LORD with all of our hearts. Instead of trying to resemble those of the world, may we let the light of God within us shine brightly for all to see. Commit yourselves to the LORD and sincerely serve Him only.
