Are You Brokenhearted?

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;"
—Isaiah 61:1 (NKJ)

Are you brokenhearted? Maybe it is a failing marital relationship, or an unhealthy relationship with a family member or friend. In Luke 4:21, after reading the passage above, Jesus said, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." Jesus was sent to heal the brokenhearted. If your heart is broken give it to Jesus and let Him bandage it up. Our Lord and Savior heals our brokenness. He loves us too much to see us hurting. Lay the pieces of your shattered heart in His hands right now and He will make it whole again.

Be Captivated by Christ
