Take Refuge

"May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge."
Ruth 2:12 (NIV)

In the above Scripture, Boaz is talking to Ruth, who left her homeland and her people to follow her mother-in-law, Naomi and the God of Israel. After the death of Naomi's two sons, one daughter-in-law returned to her people, but Ruth clung to Naomi and declared Naomi's God would be her God.

May we leave all behind us to take refuge under the wings of Almighty God. In Philippians 3:8, the Apostle Paul says he counts everything as rubbish when compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus. Let us take refuge under the wings of the LORD, where He cares for us and keeps us safe. Let nothing keep you from dwelling under His mighty wings.

In His Mighty Care
Love, Jackie
