A Joy that Remains

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11 (NKJV)

How can we have a joy that remains, a joy that is complete and overflowing? In Isaiah 2:5, a call goes out to the people of God, to walk in the light of the LORD. As we walk in His light, we will experience that inexpressible joy, deep down in our soul. This joy will keep us from being moved by the temporary events that take place on this earth. No matter how outer circumstances may appear, let us continually rejoice in the God of our salvation. Let us rejoice that His Spirit dwells in us and empowers us to be victorious in our walk of faith. In His Presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).
