By Our Side

We’ve been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we’re not demoralized; we’re not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do; we’ve been spiritually terrorized, but God hasn’t left our side; we’ve been thrown down, but we haven’t broken. —2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (MSG)

Whatever life brings your way, know that the LORD God is on your side, and nothing is too difficult for Him. Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, both now and forever (Psalm 125:2 NLT). God never leaves our side. Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders— he’ll carry your load, he’ll help you out. He’ll never let good people topple into ruin (Psalm 55:22 MSG).
