Our Living Hope

Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad; for he had desired for a long time to see Him, because he had heard many things about Him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by Him. —Luke 23:8 (NKJV)

Don’t seek Jesus for a sign or for what you can get from Him. Seek Him for who He is: the Savior of the world, the Son of God, Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, and Mighty God. Jesus is the good Shepherd, who cares for the sheep. He is the way, the truth, and the life. Don’t settle for what you have heard about Him. Get to know Him for yourself. Delight yourself in His Presence. However, be fully expectant that He will do something spectacular in you, in your life, and in the lives of those around you. Keep your hope in Him alive!

Be Captivated by Christ
