Get Fresh Strength

He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind. —Isaiah 40:29-31 (MSG)

We get fresh strength as we wait upon the LORD. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! (Psalm 27:14 NKJV) The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. (Lamentations 3:25) Blessed are all those who wait for Him. (Isaiah 30:18)

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. (Psalm 130:5)
