Hear His Word

But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”Luke 10:40-42 NKJV)

Are you worried and troubled about many things? Martha’s distractions led her to doubt if Jesus cared. Do not fret. Choose that good part. Martha’s sister, Mary, sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. (Luke 10:39). Draw near to the Lord and hear His Word. His Word will give you peace. The Word of God will revive you (Psalm 119:25) and give you strength (Psalm 119:28). His Word is comfort in our affliction and gives us life (Psalm 119:50). Through His precepts we get understanding (Psalm 119:104). His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Sit at His feet and listen.

That's right! I like to put on my armor before I enter the battlefield. You can't fight the enemy unless you're suited up.
God bless you Jackie!
have a great day!
