Come Close

But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord God my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. —Psalm 73:28 (AMP)

It is good for us to stay close to God. When we allow distance to grow between us, we are more susceptible to the many worldly distractions that will draw us away from Him. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. (James 4:8 NLT) So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. (James 4:7 MSG).
