He’s in Our Midst

“The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” —Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV)

Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22) When we cast ALL our cares on the LORD, He takes our anxious thoughts and gives us His peace. He quiets us with His unfailing love. He rejoices over us with gladness and singing. He is in our midst. He never neglects or abandons us. When the righteous cry out, the LORD hears, and delivers us out of all our troubles. (Psalm 34:17) This I know: God is for me. He is on our side!
