Rejoice & Be Glad

This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. —Psalm 118:24 (NKJV)

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4 NKJV) Let us rejoice at all times. Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! (Philippians 4:4 TPT) Do not let your joy be tied to temporary circumstances. (No Monday morning blues for you.) Our joy is to be based on our eternal God and the fact that He loves us and is always with us.

James 1:2 (NASB) says to consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. (Romans 5:3 NLT)

“Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” —Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)
