Have Great Confidence

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. —Romans 8:28 (AMP)

Second Timothy 1:9 says, God saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus. We have been called. The question is, will we accept His invitation to live according to His plan? If we love God and consistently answer His call, we can rejoice and have great confidence that God will work everything together for good. His plans for us are good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11)
